What types of private venues does The Long Table work with in Morocco?

The Long Table has access to a wide range of private venues across Morocco: Agafay desert camps, palmeraie estates, High Atlas kasbahs and mountain retreats, private Moroccan palaces, private villas and historic riads in the medina, and Atlantic coast venues for beach events near Essaouira and Agadir. Every venue is fully privatised for one group — no shared spaces, no other guests.

Can The Long Table organise an event at a Moroccan palace?

Yes. The Long Table works with a curated selection of private Moroccan palaces — traditional palace architecture with zellij courtyards, hammam, reception salons and private gardens — that can be fully privatised for weddings, galas, incentive programmes and celebrations. Palaces are sourced based on the group's size, style and dates. Contact us to discuss availability.

Can The Long Table organise beach events in Morocco?

Yes. Morocco's Atlantic coast offers striking settings for beach events and weddings. Essaouira, 2h30 from Marrakech, has a UNESCO-listed medina, consistent Atlantic winds and dramatic coastal cliffs. Agadir (3h from Marrakech) has a long sandy beach and luxury resort infrastructure. We can organise beach dinners, sunset ceremonies, beach weddings and coastal incentive programmes on the Atlantic coast on request.

Can The Long Table organise events in the High Atlas mountains beyond the standard kasbah?

Yes. Beyond the Atlas kasbah, we have access to mountain estates, Ourika Valley river terraces, Imlil mountain lodges and private properties in the High Atlas. Mountain events are particularly dramatic from October to April when the peaks are snow-capped. Altitude ranges from 1,500m to over 2,000m — significantly cooler than Marrakech in summer.

How are venue recommendations made for specific events?

Venue recommendations are made based on the event brief — group size, format, season, aesthetic preferences, guest origins and special requirements. We present two or three venue options matched to the brief, with a bespoke proposal, capacity information and photographs. The selection process is part of our proposal service.
