A kasbah is a fortress: metre-thick pisé walls, a single entry gate, terraces that look out over everything. The Long Table secures private kasbahs in the hills above Marrakech — properties that belong to families, that do not appear in any booking system, that open their torchlit terraces for one group on one night.

Dinner in a kasbah is unlike any other setting. The architecture demands a certain stillness: walls that have stood for three centuries, silence within the ramparts, a sky unobstructed in every direction. The event team handles the food, the fire, the musicians, and the transfers from your hotel.

The group arrives by private transfer as the light softens, passes through the single gate and climbs to the terraces, where torches have been lit along the ramparts and the long table is set with the plain below. The whole property is privatised for the evening: one group inside the walls, no other guests, no other table. Dinner is served on the terrace as the plain darkens and the sky opens overhead, with musicians and the fire carrying the evening until the transfers return to Marrakech.

The kasbah suits groups that want a strong sense of place and a backdrop with weight: a wedding dinner within historic walls, a seminar or incentive evening that needs to feel like a reward, a gala dinner for a company or an association, a milestone birthday, a celebration for a family or a circle of friends. Kasbah evenings are suited to groups of thirty to forty.
