Torch-lit kasbah terraces at dusk, private Berber fortress dining near Marrakech, The Long Table

La Kasbah

A private kasbah with pisé walls, torch-lit terraces, and the plain below. An authentic Berber fortress opened for a single group — one of the most dramatic private dining experiences in Morocco.

A private Berber kasbah above the valley

A kasbah is a fortress: metre-thick pisé walls, a single entry gate, terraces that look out over everything. The Long Table secures private kasbahs in the hills above Marrakech — properties that belong to families, that do not appear in any booking system, that open their torchlit terraces for one group on one night.

Dinner in a kasbah is unlike any other setting. The architecture demands a certain stillness: walls that have stood for three centuries, silence within the ramparts, a sky unobstructed in every direction. The event team handles the food, the fire, the musicians, and the transfers from your hotel.

Kasbah evenings are available year-round and suited to groups of four to forty. Private transfers from Marrakech are always included.
