Lakeside on Lac Lalla Takerkoust

Lac Lalla Takerkoust sits thirty minutes south-west of Marrakech, a wide reservoir ringed by the olive-covered hills of the lower Atlas. At dusk the water turns the colour of old copper and the light does not quite leave for an hour. The Long Table places its table at the edge of the water, with the Atlas chain behind and no other structure in sight.

The lake setting is the most tranquil of the Long Table options. The absence of sound is different from the desert — softer, cooler, with the occasional movement of water. It suits groups who want an evening that does not compete with itself: long dinner, quiet conversation, the light changing slowly overhead.

Lakeside evenings accommodate groups of two to thirty. The setting pairs exceptionally well with corporate groups and incentive trips seeking something understated. Private transfers from Marrakech included.
