Riad Médina
A private riad rooftop in the heart of the medina. Historic walls, zellige mosaics, the city below. One table, one evening, no other guests.
Request this settingA historic riad at the heart of the medina
The Marrakech medina holds hundreds of riads. A handful remain entirely private, owned by families who open their doors for one table on one evening. Zellige mosaics line the courtyard walls. A central fountain marks the silence. The rooftop terrace looks out over a thousand years of unbroken urban geometry.
The Long Table selects riad settings for groups that want to be inside the city rather than outside it. The history is structural: the walls, the tilework, the proportions. Dinner happens here, not nearby.
The evening starts at the door. A private transfer brings the group from any hotel or riad in Marrakech to the edge of the medina, and the last few minutes are on foot through the lanes to a single doorway. Inside, the courtyard is lit by candles around the fountain and the rooftop terrace is set for the group alone, the city rooftops spread out below. Dinner can be served in the courtyard or on the terrace, with the whole house privatised for the night and no other guests anywhere in the building.
This is the setting for groups that want Marrakech itself as the backdrop rather than its surroundings: an intimate wedding dinner, a milestone birthday, a dinner for the founders or partners of a company, a private celebration where every guest can hear every other. The medina setting suits groups of around thirty, which keeps the evening close and conversational.
As in every Long Table setting, the proposal covers everything: the private use of the riad, the table, the dinner and drinks, the team and the transfers. The time stops; the city continues. Tell us your date and your numbers through the request page and a proposal arrives within 24 hours.
