1. "Fully privatised" means the entire venue
At The Long Table Marrakech, every event is a complete privatisation. Your group alone has the entire site for the entire evening. There are no other tables, no other guests, no shared terraces, no hotel lobby you pass through. This is not a semi-private dining room. The venue, the privatised site on the Agafay desert plateau 40 minutes from Marrakech, is yours exclusively. This distinction matters: it is the reason the atmosphere of a Long Table event is unlike a restaurant booking, a hotel event package, or a shared venue format.
2. All-inclusive means all-inclusive
Every event includes: private return transfers from Marrakech, welcome drinks at golden hour, camel ride, full Moroccan dinner (mechoui over open embers, cold and hot mezze, pastilla, dessert spread), drinks composed for the evening, live Gnaoua music, stargazing, dedicated on-site hosting. One proposal, with nothing added later.
3. Any occasion qualifies
The Long Table does not have a minimum occasion requirement. In practice, events range from intimate dinners for thirty to gala dinners for three hundred. Birthday celebrations, anniversary dinners, bachelorette evenings, family reunions, yoga retreats, corporate incentive nights, product launches, farewell dinners — the format is built around the occasion, not the reverse. Approximately 40% of events are personal celebrations rather than weddings or corporate events.
4. Every proposal is bespoke
Every proposal depends on the number of guests, the date, and any special requests. A bespoke proposal is delivered within 24 hours of enquiry. The simplest way to receive an accurate proposal is to share three pieces of information: the approximate number of guests, the preferred date or period, and the occasion. Everything else follows from there.
5. Season matters more than most people expect
October to April is the prime season for outdoor events in Marrakech — warm evenings, clear skies, comfortable temperatures. May and early June are excellent. July and August are very hot (38–45°C daytime) though evenings cool, and in peak summer the evening on the plateau starts later, once the heat has dropped. For the classic desert experience — the Milky Way above the Atlas mountains on a cool evening — the sweet spot is October through early April.
6. Lead time is shorter than most expect
For groups of 30–80 guests, events can sometimes be organised in 2–4 weeks if the date is available. For larger events or complex multi-day programmes, allow 2–3 months. October to April weekends book ahead — particularly November, December, March and early April. Midweek bookings and larger windows of flexibility mean shorter lead times are consistently achievable.
7. One contact handles everything
The Long Table is not a marketplace or a booking aggregator. There is one team, one contact point, one proposal. Transfers, venue, food, music, hosting, décor — all coordinated by the same team that holds the relationship with the venue and the suppliers. For enquiries, start at the private event page.
