Sales Kickoff
in the Marrakech Desert

The Sales Kickoff in the Desert opens the commercial year with a plenary under a tent, team workshops in the open air and a celebration evening, on a privatised plateau 40 minutes from Marrakech. It is composed for 100 to 300 guests, one group at a time.

The Idea

Start the year somewhere your teams will remember

A sales kickoff has a hard job: align a large group on the year ahead, and send people home motivated. A hotel ballroom handles one half of that brief. The desert helps with the other.

On the plateau, the plenary takes place under a large open tent with full technical equipment, so that your leadership presents with the same quality as in any conference centre. When the plenary ends, the teams walk out into open air for workshops and challenges, rather than into a corridor.

The day finishes with an evening of celebration at a long table, where results are recognised and the new year is named.

Audience

Who it is for

Sales organisations that want their kickoff to be more than a series of presentations:

  • Sales directors at technology and services companies
  • Regional and national sales forces gathering once a year
  • Partner and channel teams invited to share a launch
  • Corporate event agencies producing a kickoff for a client
  • Companies that combine a kickoff with an incentive for top performers

Programme

How the day and the evening unfold

Timings are studied with you from the brief. A typical structure:

1 · Arrival

Coaches take the group from Marrakech to the plateau, the last stretch on a dirt track. Welcome refreshments and registration are ready on site.

2 · Plenary under the tent

Leadership presents the year: results, strategy, offer. Stage, screens, sound and interpretation are installed and tested before you arrive.

3 · Team workshops outdoors

Teams split into smaller groups for working sessions and short challenges in the open air, each led by a manager with a clear objective.

4 · Lunch on the plateau

A long table for the whole sales force, with menus by guest chefs, so that the day does not stop for logistics.

5 · Celebration evening

Recognition of the year's results on stage, a dinner at a long table, music and a show composed around your group.
